Rainbow Loom iPhone Case

I found a really fun iPhone case Youtube tutorial and made one the other day.  It has a loop for a small key chain or charm.  It's pretty cute, if I do say so myself.  Unfortunately, I do not have an iPhone.  So, when I told a friend at PC about this case, she adopted it.  Hope it serves her well. =)

Cheese Cake

I know this blog is for Mimi and Mimi's design, but I don't have much of our designs to post at this point.  So, here's a picture of the cheese cake I baked right before school started.  This is the 4th time I baked the cheese cake.  I had a recipe that I kind of improved on.  It turned out really soft and light.  Even my brother loved it!  If your birthday is coming up, I might be able to bake one for you!

1st Breakfast of 2014

Baking Cake Pops

Among all the wonderful baking tools I received for my bday this year is a Babycakes Cake Pop Maker.  Since this does not require to have the oven turned on and seems to have the cake pops done within a short amount of time, I tried it for the very first time making vanilla flavored cake pops.  Most of them turned out great.  But a few of them had a ring around and looked more like Saturn... LOL.  Regardless of how they look, they were pretty tasty.  I am yet to make the vanilla frosting to go with the cake pops.  Cant' wait to give them to my grandma when she comes soon!

Mimi Watching Mimi

 Mimi came to watch my dance company performance (please try really hard to ignore my heavy make up)  after a long day of swim competition!  You have to know that swimmers wake up super early (like 6am) on WEEKENDS for those meets.  Not the most enjoyable thing.  Amazingly, she did not look tired AT ALL!  I was so thrilled to see her.  Hugs, hugs, hugs.  Mimi, thank you for the beautiful swan vase with rose and the yummy chocolate.  I love them!!  Most of all, thank you for coming to support me.  BFF!!!!!!!
The showcase was tons of fun.  The dancers each got a dressing room mirror with bright lights all around it.  Unfortunately one of the dancers was ill and there was a last minute change of choreography.  But, like Ms. Pam said, "the show must go on."  My favorite dance piece was the wooden solider.  It was funny to hear loud cheers after we saluted the audience.  I was a lot more nervous since I was in 5 dances this time.  I was so relieved when we took the last bow.  =)
